Zhongshan Charity Parade raised nearly 800 million yuan in the last 24 years

After a series of activities including charity show, charity sales and donation in the last two months, the total amount of the donations for 2011 Zhongshan Charity Parade has hit a record high of 78.69 million yuan. Of all donations 68.83 million yuan was from the 24 towns and 9.86 million yuan from the Municipal Red Cross. In the last 24 Charity Parades nearly 800 million yuan has been raised. Zhongshan citizens are conveying their tender love to the world and caring others as their own family members to build up the civilized city of Zhongshan with warmth and happiness.
