Zhongshan to explore more cooperation with central enterprises

Acting Mayor Xue Xiaofeng held a meeting with the relevant departments and personnel from 24 towns and districts on January 12th, arranging the preparation work for the Guangdong-Central Enterprises Strategic Cooperation Conference to be held in March in Beijing.
Under direct supervision of the central government, central enterprises play an important role in development of national economy of China. They are the most attractive investment sources and can sustain long-term development for the local governments. At present, Zhongshan has signed 20 cooperation projects with central enterprises with an output value of more than 50 billion yuan. According to Xue Xiaofeng, the main tasks of Zhongshan are building roads, planting trees and launching projects. The conference this time provides a golden chance to reach for projects. Vice Mayor Xie Zhongfan also hoped the towns would change and upgrade the vision in attracting investment by taking the opportunity of this conference.
