Ship Route From Shantou To Japan Opens

At about 9:00am on May 28th, "MI YUN HE" Container Ship from Japan, escorted by maritime patrol boats, berthed at the International Container Terminal of Shantou Port, marking successful opening of the "Shantou-Japan" ship route. So far, the number of international liner routes at Shantou Port has increased to seven. The ship routes include the Mediterranean and Middle East in addition to Japan, Korea, Philippines, Singapore and Manila in Asia.
It is reported that on this newly opened route between Shantou and Japan, "MI YUN HE" and "FEI YUN HE" container ships run from opposite directions between Japan and Shantou once a week on Friday. To ensure the success of the maiden voyage on the new Shantou-Japan route, the Maritime Division of Shantou Port took the initiative in briefing the dock units, carrier and shipping houses and agents the procedures required for entering and exiting the port and safety precautions at berth, and offered swift and professional consulting services. The Maritime Division also verified and re-verified the relevant data of "MI YUN HE" and "FEI YUN HE" container ships to ensure that they meet the requirements of navigation environment.
