Shantou Border Inspection Station formulated 50 measures for promoting services

"95 of the passengers go through the customs formalities in 25 minutes, in particular, residents from Hong Kong or Macau need less than 15 seconds and other passengers will be no more than 45 seconds." This is a great achievement that Shantou Border Inspection Station, through continuous innovation over the past three years, works out 50 measures for fine services to make it more convenient for passengers in entry or exit to the country, which greatly expand the service areas in depth and width, and build up a harmonious relationship between the police and the people.
Since 2007, the Shantou Border Inspection Station has formulated innovative service measures under the "three-step" strategy on improving the quality of border inspection services made by the Ministry of Public Security to increase the efficiency of customs clearance by spending a special fund of nearly RMB 5 million for technical alteration, expand bandwidth, add spare circuits for loop circuit, improve the professional competence and service quality of civil police and provide to the maximum extent a quick passage and warm environment for a majority of people entering and leaving the country.
