34 foreign-funded enterprises were awarded by the Dongguan Government during a ceremony held on Tuesday (Jan.26).
13 of the enterprises were awarded the Outstanding Contribution Prize for being in Dongguan for a long period of time and making outstanding contributions to the economic and social development of Dongguan. The remaining 21 enterprises got the Upgrading and Transformation Prize for taking positive measures in their upgrading and transformation and have attained good results in research, brand-breeding, and expanding domestic sales.
"The Dongguan government and foreign-funded enterprises will go forward together and seek common development as ever. The government will continue to encourage enterprises to upgrade and transform, and will always support the steady development of foreign-invested enterprise," said Liu Zhigeng, Secretary of the Dongguan Communist Party Committee.
