Otto Group, a leading international trading and services corporation, have set up a testing laboratory in Liaobu Township of Dongguan Thursday. They are hoping to receive a slice of Dongguan's annual 2-billion RMB market in the products testing industry.

According to Mr. Michael Neiser, the lab's technical director, the testing service of the lab will not be conducted according to China's standards, but under standards and technology developed in Germany, in order to ensure the lab's technology is keeping pace with the world's more advanced methods.
The lab will also provide some free technical advice for local manufacturing enterprises, which is expected to improve the quality of their products, said Mr. Keith W. Kimsey, the lab's general manager.
