The launching ceremony of the public affairs card system in Dongguan was held on March 11. It symbolizes that the public affairs expense in Dongguan will be under strict observation and the transparency of government work will be further enhanced.
The public affairs card in Dongguan was introduced by the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and is targeted at fiscal budget units. It can be used for credit purchasing like credit cards but features a special quality for financial administration which should satisfy the daily business expenditure and normal personal consumption.
Currently, there are seven pilot units for the application of public affairs card in Dongguan. These units are the Dongguan Finance Bureau, the Dongguan Water Conservancy Bureau, the Sports Bureau, the Human Resources Bureau, the Economic and Information Bureau, the Highway Administration Bureau, and the Dongguan University of Technology.
