Residents of Dongguan, Guangdong Province claim they saw a mirage at noon on Monday, according to the Dongguan Times.
"A mountain suddenly appeared at about 11:30 in the morning. The view was so clear that you could even see the mountain peak," said a resident surnamed Xie who lives in the Caotang Garden Community in Dongguan. Xie hadsaid he has been living in this community since 2006, but had never seen that mountain. "The mountain appeared after the rain, it must have been a mirage."Another resident, surnamed Huang, also expressed a similar opinion.
