Mr. Muhammad Iftikhar Anjum (L1) Consulate General of Pakistani Consulate in Guangzhou and his families visited a Litchi Garden in Dongguan on July 4, 2010.
Last Sunday (July 4), a delegation of more than 120 consul generals, officers and their families in Guangzhou visited a Litchi Garden in Dalang township of Dongguan. Mr. Jiang Lin vice mayor of Dongguan warmly received the delegation.
Jiang makes an introduction of the economic and social development of Dongguan City to the guests and extends welcome for overseas investment in Dongguan. Mr. Muhammad Iftikhar Anjum the head of the delegation and Consulate General of Pakistani Consulate in Guangzhou marveled at the rapid development of Dongguan. He said the city construction of Dongguan has been greatly improved and wished Dongguan well in continuing achievement for the future. In the afternoon, the delegation visited Songshan Lake.
Mr. Jiang Lin (C) vice mayor of Dongguan warmly received the delegation.
It has been a customary practice for Dongguan Foreign Affairs Bureau to invite Consulate Generals in Guangzhou to eat Litchi in Dongguan every year so as to strengthen the friendship between Dongguan and consular officers in Guangzhou.
