2010 GeoShanghai International Geotechnical Engineering Academic Meeting Held in Shanghai

2010 GeoShanghai International Geotechnical Engineering Academic Meeting was held by Tongji University, CISMGE-CCES and SSCE from 3rd to 5th June in Shanghai. The meeting is supported by many world famous experts in geotechnical engineering. Over 300 representatives from about 30 countries and regions attended the meeting, more than 20 of which are overseas experts.

Prof. Li Yongsheng, chairman of 2010 GeoShanghai, Executive Vice President of Tongji University, Prof. Al-Qadi Imad from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Prof. Zhang Jianmin, Chairman and Sectary General of CISMGE-CCES, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

2010 GeoShanghai is the largest-scale international geotechnical meeting since 2006 GeoShanghai. It is also the largest-scale international geotechnical meeting held in China. The meeting aims to show the present level of international geotechnology, to preview the newest research, as well as to discuss the development and historical mission of geotechnology.
