Delegation of the Province of Venice Visits Tongji

On May 31st, Mr. Speranzon, Attache for Cultural Affairs of the Province of Venice, and Prof. Micelli, Dean of Venice International University VIU , as well as Prof. Lippiello, Director of the Department of East Asia Studies of Venice University Ca Foscari, visited Tongji University. Vice President Dong Qi met the delegation and had a discussion about cultural exchange and academic cooperation with the Government of the Province of Venice, VIU and Venice University Ca Foscari.

Tongji s cooperation with VIU in the field of sustainable development studies began in 2006. Admitted as a member of VIU in November 2009, Tongji has been implementing the collaboration projects with other admitted universities in energy, environment, and cultural heritage.
