| On April 4-6, the 7th Beijing International Fair, the first international consumable trade fair, was held in Beijing. On April 3, it was sunny and bright. International exhibition center was beautifully decorated with numerous colorful balloons and flags. At 10 a.m. the exhibition was inaugurated in the military music. Shi Guangsheng, minister of MOFTEC and director of exhibition committee, and other leaders from 17 ministries, committees, bureaus of State Council and foreign business organizations in China presented the open ceremony. As the only high-tech enterprise with operations mainly in feed industry, Tongwei, together with Haier Group, Shanghai General Motors and other famous enterprises home and abroad, took part in this grand international meeting. The exhibition was divided into 10 sections, such as technology patent section, overseas section, car section, house wiring section, medicine & health care section etc. On the exhibiting day came thousands of visitors. Tongwei's exhibition booth was in technology patent section on the second floor. The commodious and bright Tongwei booth was quite striking and attractive. People all came to Tongwei's booth to get publicizing brochures, asking questions and inquiring special items. Journalists from Xinhua News Agency, China Trade Daily, Writers' Digest and so on, came to Tongwei's booth to gather more materials about Tongwei's development and find out how president Liu Hanyuan became one of the top 50 richest people in Chinese Mainland. Two feed sellers shouldered their way to the booth and expressed their longing for cooperating with Tongwei and selling Tongwei feed. In 4 days thousands of people visited Tongwei's booth and left their letter address and telephone number, hoping to keep touch with Tongwei and know more about its development in the future. It's said that Beijing International Fair is the only comprehensive fair held regularly in China. From 1989 till now, it has been successfully held for 6 times. It enjoys great popularity home and abroad. People in charge of the exhibition committee said that Beijing International Fair will be held annually from this year. They will do their best to hold the consumable fair regularly and make it a first rank fair, with good credit standing and great influence. |
