In the afternoon of April 3, research fellow Cao Wenxuan (the fourth on the left), academician of China Academia Sinica and director of aquatic research institute committee of CAS, Doctor Chen Yifeng (first on the left), research fellow of aquatic research institute of CAS and secretary-general of China fish academy, professor Xie Xiaojun (the third on the left), director of Chongqing animal academy and China fish academy and head of research institute of Southwest Normal University, visited Tongwei.
In the headquarters, accompanied by assistant president Hu Rongzhu, academician Cao and his party visited Tongwei' prizes exhibition room. Standing in front of various national golden prizes, guests sang high praise of Tongwei's achievements.
President Liu met academician Cao and his party at the meeting room. They exchanged their views on status quo of Chinese aquiculture and fishery development in 21th century. Both sides agreed on strengthening cooperation in various fields.
Later on, academician Cao and his party visited Aquatic Science & Technology Co. They were deeply impressed by the most advanced fish farming workshop in west China, the plan of building Chinese largest aquatic science & technology area and the project of applying gene-conversion tech to fish breeding etc.
