On March 10-13, the first exhibition on science & technology innovation of private business was ceremoniously held in Beijing exhibition hall. Near 300 private enterprises, including Tongwei Enterprise Group and other enterprises with large scale, high technology and rapid development, coming from all over the country, gathered in Beijing to present this exhibition, which involves the fields of IT, bio-medicine engineering, new material, agriculture developing and environmental protection etc. Tongwei is the only enterprise group representing Sichuan province and the only feed enterprise in the exhibition.
The exhibition was held just at the same time when the two conferences were held, which attracted the world attention. When was told that Tongwei is engaged in building the largest aquatic science & technology area and carrying on the scientific research of fish gene conversion, Ye Xuanping, the vice chairman, pointed at Tongwei's booth and said, Great! Yang Rudai, the vice chairman, who was born at Renshou county in Sichuan and the former secretary of Sichuan provincial committee, came to Tongwei's booth. His Sichuan accent made Tongwei representatives feel at home. Looking at the long list of Tongwei's subsidiaries all over the country, Mr. Yang said to Zhang Guokun, assistant of president of Tongwei, that since Tongwei Enterprise Group is of great strength and develops rapidly, it should continue to work hard and catch the opportunity to win honor for Sichuan. When was told that Tongwei has set foot in liquor trade and Sichuan Manshuijing Liquor Co., Ltd has been founded at Manjing town of Renshou county, his hometown, Mr. Yang felt greatly pleased and nodded again and again, pointing at the name of his hometown on Tongwei's exhibition board. He told Mr. Zhang that water of Manjing is excellent and hoped that Manshuijing could get rapid development. This showed the old secretary's strong love of his hometown.
Luo Haocai, vice chairman of CPPCC and chairman of the central committee of Zhi Gong Dang, visited Tongwei as a member of West Development investigation group of Democratic Parties last July. This time he came to Tongwei's booth and inquired in detail about Tongwei's recent development and things like the investment, scale and function of aquatic science & technology area etc. Zhang Siqing, Ren Jenxin, Wang Wenyuan, Zhao Nanqi etc., vice chairmen of CPPCC, all sang high praise of Tongwei's rapid and steady development.
