On Feb 25~26, 2004, China Feed Industry Association, in response to the countrywide drive against bird flu, held a working forum in Beijing. The meeting put emphasis on how China s feed industry could be up against the new difficulties and new situations and how sustainable development of the industry could be maintained through scientific viewpoint of development, in addition to research and analysis on the influence to feed industry by the bird flu and the actions to be taken. This meeting stands out to be a meeting of situation analysis for feed industry in entering into a new development era as well as a new strategic development seminar. Further, it is a campaign launched for mutual discussion on development of feed industry among industry giants.
Liu Hanyuan, Vice Chairman of China Feed Industry Association and President of Tongwei Group attended the meeting upon invitation and put forth actions and suggestions on tackling with bird flu, which was unanimously recognized and reputed among the audience. Chairman Bai Meiqing of China Feed Industry Association, Secretary General Liu Tongzhan and other leaders and responsible persons from related enterprises and scientific research institutes, also attended the meeting.
