On July 5, leaders from relevant departments and units of provincial CPC committee s Agriculture Office, provincial Bureau of Aquatic Products, Chengdu Council of Agriculture, Chengdu Water Affairs Bureau, Chengdu Agricultural Investmet Company and Dujiangyang municipal CPC committee, led by Yang Xingyuan deputy director of Sichuan provincial CPC committee s Agriculture Office and deputy head of the steering group for Sichuan s national green agricultural showcase area construction, conducted a survey on the construction of Tongwei national green agricultural showcase area. Their visit was accompanied by Tongwei Corp s vice president Ye Debing and Zhang Mingqing.
When briefing the visitors about the progress of the project of Tongwei green aquatic showcase base, vice president Zhang said that under the great support of relevant departments of varied levels, Tongwei had conducted all-round standardization buildup pursuant to the Construction Plan for the Green Agricultural & Aquatic Showcase Area jointly formulated by the provincial Agricultural Office, BAP, GASAC and Tongwei Corp ever since Tongwei was selected as the undertaker for the construction of China s first aquatic demo area among the 50 national green agricultural demo areas. So far Tongwei had established parts of the demo base in Chengdu, Beijing, Wuhan and Guangzhou, said Zhang.
