News came from National Development & Reform Commission today that Tongwei Corp s Technical Center was accredited jointly by NDRC, Ministry of Science, Ministry of Finance, General Administration of Customs and State Administration for Taxation as one of the 14th batch of national-class enterprise technical centers. It is reported that many hundred companies contended for this accreditation this year and, after several rounds of selection, Q&A sessions and joint review, only 74 companies got their technical centers accredited by the state, among which Tongwei Corp s is the only one in the feeds sector. Up till now, China has only 499 nationally accredited enterprise technical centers (sub-centers) in total.
The accreditation reflected Tongwei Corp s competence as a pace-setting technologically advanced enterprise, and also the recognition of NDRC and Ministry of Science for Tongwei Corp s strengths in leading the technical innovation and development of the domestic feeds sector.
