The 12th China International Fisheries Expo, viz. China International Aquaculture Expo was held in Dalian from November 6 to 8. Tongwei, as well as the other ompanies, numbering almost 800, from 37 countries and regions, participated in this expo. The expo, the largest and the highest standard of its kind, gathered a large number of different high quality products, high level fishery technologies, hi-tech production equipment which were horizon-widening.
During the expo, Tongwei received an endless stream of Chinese or foreign visitors. They read the publicity material of Tongwei with great interest and asked about the relevant products, technologies and businesses. The company had in-depth discussions about Tongwei s product features, feeds nutritions, aquatic products downstream processing with professionals from countries like Russia, Canada, Peru, Scotland, Thailand, etc. The discussion deepened Tongwei s exchange with international and domestic peers and research institutions so that lots of common understanding in the aquacultural trends or models of larger scale, standard and hazard-free operations had been established. The exchange also set a stage for the company to understand better the global market changes and seek opportunities for cooperation and expand into the global market.
Attending the opening ceremony of the expo included deputy director of NPC Agriculture & Rural Economy Committee Shu Huiguo, Deputy director of NPC Agriculture & Rural Economy Committee and president of CCPIT (China Council for the Promotion of International Trade) Agriculture Sub-council Wan Baorui, president of China Fisheries Assocation Qi Jingfa, director of Ministry of Agriculture s Fisheries Bureau Li Jianhua.
