China-Hungary Key Technological Cooperatin Project Settles with Tongwei

On November 26, Dr. Tivadar Lippenyi, deputy science minister of Hungary, who came to China at the invitation of China s Ministry of Science, arrived in Rongcheng. The next day, he attended the five-party agreement signing ceremony hosted by International Cooperation Section under Sichuan Science & Technology Department at Tongwei s HQ. The five parties were Tongwei Corp, Hungarian Research Institute for Fisheries, Aquaculture and Irrigation (HAKI), Hungary Vitafort Co, Hungary Aranyponty Co, and Chinese Acadamy of Fishery Sciences Wuxi Freshwater Fisheries Research Center. Under this agreement, they would cooperate on the project themed Research on Effects of Chinese Herbal Medicine on Non-specific Immuno-regulation of Fish and Shrimps and Its Application in Fish Disease Prevention .

Hungary s deputy science minister Dr. Tivadar Lippenyi, senior commissioner Dr. Peter Judak, head of HAKI Dr. Laslo, president of Asia Fisheries Society and director of Tongwei Corp Dr. Yang Yi, director of Wuxi Freshwater Fisheries Research Center Prof. Xu Pao, inspector of Sichuan Ministry of Science & Technology Mr. Lin Youyi, president of Vitafort Mr. ZoltanKulik, president of Aranyponty Mr. Ferenc Levai, chairman of Tongwei Group Mr. Liu Hanyuan, and head of Tongwei Corp Medicine Research Institute Dr. Xiao Dan were president at the signing ceremony.

The R&D on application of Chinese herb immunity additives and antibaterial medicine for fish is a key technological project for the Hungarian government and also for the technological cooperation between China and Hungary. Tongwei Corp is the largest producer of aquatic products in the world; Vitafort is Hungary s key supplier of feeds additives and feeds for terrestrial animals; Aranyponty is a large technology company in Hungary specializing in application of emerging feeds to intensive culture of new breeds. The parties were committed that they would actively assume the responsibility for food safety of the entire humanity, leverage their own strengths and try their utmost efforts to discharge the obligations under the agreement to jointly promote the commercial experiments, application and extension of the relevant research findings, and make their due efforts and contribution towards the health of human beings.
