On the eve of the opening ceremony of 2011 Eu-China Year of Youth, more than 40 people who were from the EU Youth delegation and Chinese youth representatives visited Former Residence of Soong Ch ing-ling which was the volunteer training camp of Xicheng district.
The Secretariat of Volunteer Association of Xicheng district firstly introduced the voluntary service projects in Xicheng district after the Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Games. Besides, the recruitment, registration, management and training situation of Volunteer also were presented. Huang Chengzong from Beijing NO.13 middle school introduced that Former Residence of Soong Ch ing-ling persisted to carry out volunteer service projects all the year round in fluent English. A spirited discussion sprang up between members of the delegation.
