Sprott-Shaw Community College Delegation visits YUFE

On January 19, 2010, a four-man delegation led by David Thomas, Deputy Executive of CIBT Education Group Inc. and Executive Director of Sprott-Shaw Community College visited YUFE. Vice President Wang Libin had a kind interview with the delegation.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed events in relation with the 3+1 Student Exchange Progamme. Vice Executive David Thomas acknowledged the vice president of the current joint cooperation education, focusing on the distance education programme based at Polycom. He said Yunnan s unique cultural ambience was a priority for Canadian students who planned to study abroad. The vice president then introduced the 3+1 Student Exchange Progamme carried out jointly by YUFE with French and Korean universities. He discussed in detail with Mr. Thomas the key points of the student exchange programme. He also expressed hope to carry out cooperation in a 3+1 student exchange programme and distance interactive education at Polycom.

After the meeting, the delegates visited the library, teaching buildings and other teaching facilities and had a deep impression of our high-quality teaching resources and advanced teaching facilities.
