On Oct, 29th, a delegation from the University of Northampton visited YUFE and had a meeting with Vice-President Yin Hong. The two sides then signed a memorandum of cooperation.
Vice President Yin Hong introduced to the distinguished guests the current situation of the international cooperation of YUFE and exchanged views of the cooperation mode between the two universities. The two reached a consensus to cooperate in student and teacher exchanges, joint programs and academics. Delegates from the University of Northampton also introduced their cooperation situation with domestic and overseas universities and invited leaders of YUFE to visit the University of Northampton at the appropriate time.
The University of Northampton is a teaching and research oriented comprehensive university. It has six faculties and more than 12,000 students, 1,000 of whom are foreign students from 79 different countries. Among the foreign students, 200 come from China. Majors such as accountancy, environment, architecture and management have long won high reputation in Britain. This visit to YUFE is their first to a university in western China.
