The Deputy Governor of Vinh Phuc Province, Vietnam, Ruan Yusi, visited our university, leading a delegation consisting of the director of the Office of Personnel, the secretary of the Medical Department and the director of the Finance Department, on July 17. Professor Wang Rong, the secretary of the Party Committee and president of our university, hosted a banquet to welcome the delegation. Secretary Wang introduced the advantages and features of the disciplines of our university, and he also expressed his hope for both universities to strengthen cooperation in these areas.
In the morning, Vice President Yin Hong conducted an in-depth conversation with the delegation from Vinh Phuc Province. Vice President Yin Hong briefed the basic situation of our school, the foreign exchange program and the study conditions of the foreign students from Vinh Phuc province. He also expressed willingness to further strengthen cooperation with the province. Vice Governor Ruan briefly introduced the basic situation of Vinh Phuc province and asked about the study and life of the foreign students from the province in detail. He also expressed his gratitude for the effort our university had made for those foreign students.
Both sides agreed that our university shall be the learning and training center for the foreign students from Vinh Phuc province in Yunnan. The two sides will cooperate in the aspects of civil service training, athletics training and tourism management training in the future to widen and deepen the cooperation.
