Representatives from VIA University College, Denmark Visited CQMU

On June 9, 2009, in the company of Dean Chen, Senior Commercial Officer of Royal Danish Consulate, Ms. Kirsten Haugaard Christensen and Ms. Susanne Stein, International Coordinator, and Mr. Peter Nielsen Wellendorf, Head of International Department of Faculty of Education and Social Studies of VIA University College, Denmark visited our university.

Yang Hong, Director of Foreign Affairs Office, Ruan Lili, Vice Dean of Nursing School, Wang Yang, Qiu Jingfu, and Zhong Xiaoni, Vice Deans of School of Public Health of CQMU had a meeting with the guests. During the talk, both parties introduced the characteristics of their curriculum and discussed the possibilities of cooperation in nursing and public health.

They both had the intent for cooperation in the summer school program and the co-cultivation of students majoring in nursing and public health.

VIA University College is the result of a merger between the Alpha Centre for Higher Education, Mid-West Centre for Higher Education, Vita Centre for Higher Education, University College Jutland and Vitus Bering Denmark. It is the third largest university in Denmark at present.
