On April 21, 2009, in the company of Chen Gaoshan, Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Government and Xu Wei, Deputy Director of Foreign Businessmen Service Center of Foreign Affairs Office, a group of six headed by Akhtar Masood,Consulate-General of Pakistan in Chengdu visited Chongqing Medical University. President Lei Han, Vice President Huang Ailong, and Yang Hong, Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs Office of CQMU and other relative staff warmly received them.
At 10 am, President Lei Han had a meeting with the guests. Vice President Huang Ailong gave a brief introduction of CQMU. Both parties discussed about the education of foreign students and the cooperation in key disciplines of mutual interest. At the end of the meeting, they exchanged gifts.
After the meeting, Mr. Masood had a talk with the Pakistani students of CQMU. He gave positive comments on their excellent study and living conditions provided by CQMU.
The guests also visited the HIFU Research Center of CQMU in the company of Yang Hong. They had a better understanding of the HIFU technology and had a deep impression on the beautiful campus of CQMU.
Both parties expected extensive cooperation in the education of foreign students.
