The First International Summit of Noninvasive Ultrasound Treatment Was Held Successfully

The First International Summit of Noninvasive Ultrasound Treatment was held by Chongqing Medical University from Oct. 22 to 23, 2009. The Summit was one of the programs of the International R&D Institution Mission to Chongqing, which was sponsored by Minster of Science and Technology of China and Chongqing Municipal Government with the purpose to provide an opportunity to the international R&D institutions for information sharing and experience exchange.

As one of its 18 programs, the Summit attracted about 100 experts from 19 countries, including about 20 renowned ones in minimal invasive treatment and noninvasive treatment.

At the Summit, the experts gave lectures about clinical application of ultrasound ablation therapy and discussed about the establishment of platform for international research cooperation. Chongqing Medical University for the first time released to the world its achievements in the ten-year application of ultrasonic therapy.

The First International Summit of Noninvasive Ultrasound Treatment strengthened the ties between Chongqing and the international R&D institutions in the exchanges and cooperation in ultrasonic therapy.
