Prof. Nick Archer from Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals Lectured in ???Jinyun Lecture Room??

On Oct. 10, 2009, Prof. Nick Archer, expert in pediatric cardiology from Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals gave a lecture entitled ???How to Be a Good Health Worker??? on Jinyun campus. The lecture was live broadcasted to about 1,000 teachers and students.

Before the lecture, a ceremony was held in which Prof. Nick Archer was appointed as our visiting professor. Later in the lecture, he shared with the audience his studying and working experiences and his secrets to be a good health worker: to study systematically for the theoretical knowledge; to cultivate and keep the interest in scientific research; to work hard and enjoy doing so; and most importantly, to be kind-hearted and patient, and respect and help the patients.

After the lecture, Prof. Nick Archer communicated with the students for about one hour.
