Graduation Ceremony of 2004 Batch Foreign Undergraduate Students Was Held

Graduation ceremony of 2004 batch foreign undergraduate students of CQMU was held on June 19, 2009 on Yuzhong campus. More than 120 students attended the ceremony, including all the foreign undergraduate students of 2004 batch and some representative of 2005 batch. Present at the ceremony were also the vice president of CQMU and leaders from Clinical College, Basic Medical College, School of Public Health, Foreign Language Department, Management College, Dean???s Office and Students??? Affairs Office. Chen Ying, Vice Director of Students??? Affairs Office hosted the ceremony.

The ceremony began with ???Jasmine???, the Chinese traditional music. Vice President Chen Zhiyong expressed his warm congratulations to the 41 graduates from Nepal and India. He hoped that the students would carry forward the university spirits of being rigorous, realistic, hard-working and enterprising and wished them a prosperous future and a pleasant journey.

Richa, on behalf of all the graduates, extended their great gratitude to the teachers in CQMU and said that they would keep the beautiful memories here and would serve the people in their home countries with the knowledge and skills learnt in the university.

In the diploma awarding ceremony later, the 41 students in bachelor gown and hat took over the diploma from Vice President Chen Zhiyong and Luo Tianyou, Director of Clinical School. In the words of advice given by Mr. Luo, he hoped that the students would never give up in front of difficulties and also hoped that they could become the messenger of friendship between their home countries and China.

The ceremony closed in the music of Scarborough Fair, the theme song of The Graduate.
