Opening Ceremony for the International Undergraduates of 2010 Batch Held

On Nov. 12, 2010, the opening ceremony for the international undergraduates of 2010 batch was held in Classroom A1-1305 on Jinyun campus. Ms. Yang Hong, Director of Foreign Affairs Office, Mr. Jiang Yanggang, Vice Director of Jinyun Campus Management Committee, Mr. Gong Di, Secretary of Youth League CQMU Committee, Mr. Jiang Zhigang, Vice Director of Dean???s Office, staff from Foreign Affairs Office and Overseas Students Office, and all the new students attended this ceremony.

Ms. Yang Hong firstly accorded a warm welcome to international students, introduced the city of Chongqing as well as the University and its recent achievements, and expressed her expectations on the students.

Then, a representative of international students made a speech.

After that, an entrance education was presented, detailing some relevant guidance, principles and regulations about life and study in CQMU and Chongqing.

According to the students, the ceremony and entrance education deepened their understanding of Chongqing and CQMU, strengthened their comprehension of legal residence in China and regulations of the university, and directed their future study efficiently.
