On March 7th, 7 p.m., Ms. Shirley, officer from Swansea University International and Mr. Tang Jun, director of southwest China office of Swansea University held an overseas study lecture in Teaching Building A3-1401 on Jinyun Campus. The lecture attracted a hundred more students from English Department and School of Health Management.
Ms Shirley firstly gave a brief introduction to Swansea University. Students were greatly impressed by the beautiful environment, good reputation and colorful study and life experience showed in her presentation. And, Mr. Tang Jun focused on the hot topics of students??? concern, such as cost of study, scholarship and employment. Then, the students raised questions for further understanding. The lecture was concluded by a short film about Swansea University.
Our university established a long-term cooperative partnership with Swansea University last year. We are now sending two seven-year program students to do their eight-week clinical rotation in Swansea. At present, Swansea is offering two programs for our students, 3+1+1 and 4+1, featuring more attractive scholarship and flexible length of schooling. In the future, the specialties will be extended to other areas besides English and Health Management.
