The 2008 CUBA (China University Basketball Association) series concluded on May 30 in Guangzhou. After defeating Xiamen University Men Basketball team in the second deciding final match, GDUT Men Basketball team claimed championship of the 2008 CUBA. Ren Junfei, numbered 11 in GDUT team, was named the MVP of the Match, and the Best Coach award went to GDUT coach Liu Weihao.
