Himeji Dokkyo University President Visits GDUT

A delegation headed by Himeji Dokkyo University President Mr. Takehiro Otsuka visited GDUT on June 4. University President Prof. Zhang Xiangwei and University Secretary Prof. Chen Shao met the visiting Japanese friends.
University Prsident Prof. Zhang extended his warm welcome to the guests and expressed his sincere gratitude to Mr. Otsuka for his hospitality shown during President Zhnag??s visit to Himeji Dokkyo University in 2005. During the meeting, a brief introduction to the latest developments of GDUT was given by University President. He emphasized that GDUT attaches great importance to international cooperation and exchanges, and had set up cooperative relationships with lots of overseas universities and institutes including those located in Japan. The President stressed that the past three years had witnessed a satisfactory cooperative relationship between Himeji Dokkyo University and GDUT, and hoped that the relationship would be further deepened and enriched.
In turn, Himeji Dokkyo President Mr.Takehiro Otsuka gave an introduction to his university, and said he visited GDUT this time with a purpose to lay a solider foundation for future cooperation by holding top talks between the two universities. Mr. Otsuka also said that the speech delivered by President Zhang in Japanese during his stay in Himeji left a deep impression on the university??s staff members, students and their parents. Mr. Otsuka extended his invitation to University President Prof. Zhang to revisit Himeji Dokkyo University at convenience in future.
After the meeting, an agreement for a new round cooperation between the two universities was signed, and boxes of books and literatures were also donated to the School of Foreign Languages by the Japanese friends.????
