GDUT Shoulders Environmental Appraising Task for Wenchuan Re-construction

After going through the joint assessment process organized by GuangzhouMunicipality and Wenchuan local government, GDUT is selected to perform environmental appraising work for Wenchuan s reconstruction. On April 25^th 2009, GDUT signs an agreement with related authorities to shoulder its own responsibility in the construction, making its due contribution to lay a solid and scientific foundation for Wenchuan s development.

On May 12^th 2008, a devastating 8.1 magnitude earthquake broke out in WenchuangCounty, claiming a toll almost up to 90,000 victims and leaving homeless victims even more.
