November 18, 2010. A seminar on how to become an outstanding educator in Changzhou was held in the Second Conference Room at Changzhou University. Leaders from the Education Department of Changzhou City and Jiangsu Province made important remarks on the work. People attending the seminar included also the leaders from all the universities in Changzhou.
Ding Xiaochang, vice director of the Education Department of Jiangsu, pointed out that all the school in Changzhou have done a lot in order to be better, but to further the work, three points needed to be observed. First, make sure that all activities are carried with actual effects; second, improve party work and third, find out the good examples and publicize them.
Shi Guodong, the Party Secretary of CZU, expressed a warm welcome to all the leaders. He stated that CZU has always attached importance to the activities of becoming outstanding educators. CZU has also made detailed plans in order to produce results and it is believed that at the end of the Eleventh Five-year Plan, CZU will make more achievements.
In the reports given by some universities and high schools, they shared their experiences and activities. Fang Guocai, who heads the Southern Jiangsu Team of Becoming an Outstanding Educator, concluded the seminar by praising the educational activities carried out in Changzhou, and he also expressed hopes that better activities will be further carried out.
