New Partnership Agreement Signed between Maastricht School of Management and SMU

On March 29th, Prof. Peter P. de Gijsel, President of Maastricht School of Management of the Netherlands and Ms. Amy R. Wang, International Cooperation Project Director of the school visited SMU and signed a new partnership agreement with SMU. Prof. Yu Shicheng, President of SMU, Prof. Qu Linchi, Dean of Economics and Management College and Ms. Zhuang, Jiafang, Deputy Director of Teaching Affairs Office received the guests. Both parts showed great satisfaction to MBA cooperative program and are seeking possibilities of further partnership.

The joint MBA program started in 1996 and was approved by AMBA in 2005. The program, through its 11 years of operation, has trained a number of management talents. Many SMU alumni are working as senior executives in shipping, port, logistics, petroleum and manufacturing industries.
