3-Member Delegation from the SOAI University, Japan visited the campus

A SOAIUniversity delegation headed by its vice president visited the campus on September 10. Vice President Zhou Jianshe met with the Delegation in the ForeignLanguageBuilding. The two sides exchanged experiences on university management, expressed the desire for cooperation and came up with specific proposals. Prof. Feng Yihan, Dean of the Foreign Languages School, Prof. Kong Fanzhi, Head of the Japanese Department, and Li Gang, Deputy Dean of the Music School, attended the meeting.

Later the Delegation toured facilities of the ForeignLanguagesSchool and the MusicSchool. The Foreign Languages School went on to have a second meeting with the Delegation in the evening on sending undergraduate students majoring in Japanese to for Japanese further studies. The ForeignLanguagesSchool has forges cooperative relations and exchanges with a number of Japanese universities. This cooperation with a famous private university in downtown Osaka will attract more students and further enhance educational exchanges with Japanese universities.
