CNU Volunteer Team for Olympics Volleyball Venue Make Gathering

The CNU volunteer team for Olympic volleyball venue held a conference at Room 308 in the North District Stadium.
At the meeting to officially declare the establishment of volunteer team, Liu Haitao, CNU s Youth League secretary, read out Admission Notice for Volunteers of the 29th Olympic Games . A total number of 25 volunteers, after strict selection processes and interviews, signed on the Letter of Commitment swearing that they will obey rules by the Beijing Olympic Games Organizing Committee and follow management and organization of the team tocomplete tasks of voluntary service and to safeguard reputation of the Beijing 2008 Olympics and Paralympics by making own contributions.
An Shuang, a volunteer delegate from the College of Literature, read out Volunteer Commitment for the 29th Olympics , while Chen Ning, the deputy secretary, delivered a mobilization speech.
At the meeting, venue operation team leader, Xu Hui, introduced the operation of venues and detailed on service period, tasks and work arrangements, as well as service contents. Volunteers also conducted self-introduction. Zhang Qi, the volunteer team manager, gave tasks for the coming weeks. On April 13, all the volunteers will go to tree-planting in Miyun. In addition, trainings about etiquettes, contingency, volleyball, language and so on will be launched gradually. The meeting indicated the official establishment of the CNU volunteer team for Olympic volleyball venue, which is itself another big step forward in preparation for the volleyball venue.
