Dr. Seeburg with the education department of the Kent State University, Dr. Philip Wang from the entertainment department and tourism management, and Dr. Wayne Munson, head of the spots and Leisure department, visited CNU for possible academic exchanges and cooperation.
An official from the College of International Education introduced the cooperation processes between the two universities and the general situation, and then faculty professors from two sides conducted targeted discussions. The two sides exchanged views on their respective situations and talked about exchange possibilities of undergraduates, graduates and doctoral students as well as teachers, and the two sides have initially though of possible forms of academic points sharing, post-graduate students visits and thesis sharing, short-term students visits or study, joint lessons as well as teacher education. The two sides reached consensus during the discussion, which paved the way for future cooperation to comprehensively improve English language ability and bilingual teaching ability of CNU teachers and students.
