Professor Dang Jianwu from JAIST Becomes NPU Guest Professor

The guest professor appointment ceremony for professor Dang Jianwu from Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) was held on the NPU campus on Dec. 31, 2010. Professor Li Huaxing, director of Office of International Cooperation, and Professor Zhou Xingshe, dean of School of Computer Science and Engineering and the representatives of faculty attend the appointment ceremony, which is chaired by Professor Zhou Xingshe.

During the ceremony, Professor Li Huaxing awards Professor Dang Jianwu with the letter of guest professor appointment and extends his welcome and congratulation for Professor Dang Jianwu, hoping that he will help NPU develop more rapidly and in a more all-round way in the field of computer science and engineering. Professor Dang Jianwu extends his great honor to be the guest professor of NPU, hoping to have the effectively cooperation with NPU in the areas of scientific research and student education in the field of Voice Processing.
