The China-Russia University Presidents Forum is a program in the China-Russia National Year for education systems as well as an important event in the framework of 2010 Russian China Year . China chose Sichuan University, Tsinghua University, China Agricultural University, Shanghai Jiatong University, Tianjin University, Dalian University of Technology, University of Science and Technology and South China University of Technology as representatives to participate in the forum.
Russia's Moscow State University and the All-Russian Association of University Presidents invited about 30 Russian representatives from 9-10 leading universities in Moscow to participate in the meeting, including Moscow State University, Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Moscow State Institute of Steel and Alloys, Moscow Medical Academy, etc.
The representatives of two sides focused on the discussion on "education of Chinese and Russian professional talents in science and engineering .
