The visit aims to promote exchanges between the youth and college students as well as the educational development of both countries. Upon arrival in Islamabad, the delegation first went to visit Mr. Luo Zhaohui, ambassador of Chinese embassy in Pakistan. Ambassador Luo introduced the current situation of Pakistan to the delegation, reviewed the history of friendly exchanges between the two countries and looked into the future of China-Pakistan relations. Luo gave full affirmation to the efforts by Sichuan University in promoting China-Pakistan education exchanges and the endeavors by South Asia Research Institute of Sichuan University and encouraged the students of the delegation to contribute positive efforts to China-Pakistan friendly exchanges.
