SCUT Students win top in the 1st NUSWCC

The final of the 1^st National University Students Water Conservancy Competition (NUSWCC) was held in Hohai University from August 15 to 17, which has received 85 works from 31 universities. The SCUT team consisted of the supervisor ZHOU Xiaowen and three students, CHEN Yuanying, FAN Tuo and KANG Zheng from the School of Civil Engineering and Transportation, won the first prize by their innovative work "Water Level Induction Modification Embankment Structure".

The theme of the competition was "Green Water Conservancy", aiming at training the innovative design and engineering practice abilities of the students. There were 10 special prizes, 20 first prizes, 39 second prizes, and 17 winning prizes.
