From November 22 to 27, a delegation from Jinan University consisted of Prof. Zeng Yiping, Vice Dean of the College of Chinese Language and Culture, Dr. Zhou Jing, Assistant Chair of the Applied Linguistics Department of the college and Mr. Li Lijia, Deputy Director of the International Affairs Office visited the Philippines.
During the trip, the delegation visited the Philippine Chinese Education Research Center, the Office for Cultural Affairs of the Embassy of China in the Philippines and the Philippine Federation of Filipino Cantonese Association and introduced to them the overseas Chinese education programs offered by Jinan University and the college of Chinese Language and Culture.
Accompanied by Mr. James T. Wang, Vice President of Philippine Chinese Education Research Center, the the delegation also visited the Misamis Union High School and discussed with the board of directors of the school the cooperation between the two sides in running the school.
