Last night, HNU s New Year Reception for Foreign Experts and Foreign Students was held by Office of International Exchange and Cooperation in InternationalAcademicExchangesCenter.
Jiang Hongxin, vice president of HNU, on behalf of school, gave new year greetings to the reception, extended warm welcome to the foreign experts and students present last night and expressed sincere thanks to the constructive work of foreign experts and teachers in the past year. He also greeted the guests in six languages----Chinese, English, French, Russia, Korean, and Japanese, which evoked thunderous applause.
Doc. Kurt Harris, director of International Affairs Center of Southern Utah University, on a friendly visit to our school, attended the reception on invitation and gave a speech.
Korean student Jin Zhen'e sang a well-known Chinese song "The Moon Expresses My Heart ", and then students began singing and dancing and invited teachers to join them. The atmosphere was pretty good.
