Recently, Hunan Provincial Leading Group of Philosophy & Social Science and Publicity Department of Hunan CPC Provincial Committee issued Notice on Publishing the Fourth Batch of Hunan Social Science Research Bases (X.Z.S.L.No. 14[2010]. Research Base of Hunan Economic Security and Research Base of Huxiang Culture of Xiangtan University were selected in the list, making XTU one of the two universities with two chosen bases.
