Institution of Gas Enginers and Managers IGEM president Gordon Davies and senior officials of Hong Kong Towngas visited the School of Environmental Science and Engineering on April 30.
Mr. Davies presented a lecture entitled Introduction to Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers and the Latest Development of British Gas Industry, giving an in-depth introduction to the institution and an elaboration of the evaluation system of British registered professional engineers, as well as answering students' questions.
IGEM, founded in 1863, is an institution for establishing standards for EU gas industry, and also a professional influential body by Royal Charter.
