On Jan. 8th, President Yang Wei warmly welcomed the visiting delegation from Tamkang University, Taiwan. After thorough discussion on relevant issues, President Yang Wei and the head of the delegation, President Chang Flora Chia-I, signed the Agreement on Academic Exchange between Tamkang Unviersity and Zhejiang University.
According to the Agreement, both sides will endeavor to promote academic exchange and cooperation in the form of visiting scholars, exchange students, joint research, internship and so on.
Tamkang University attaches much importance to academic exchange with universities in mainland. Since 2005, the College of Business of TU has been exchanging students with School of Economics of ZJU.
