On April 2nd, President of Elsevier China Science and Technology, Ms LU Sa, vice president, Mr. ZHANG Yuguo and Senior commissioner, Ms. MIAO Chenxia visited CUMT. Vice president LIU Jiongtian met the delegation on Nanhu Campus, accompanied by directors of the CUMT s journal, library, office of Science and technology and office of the president.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed some potential cooperation for the future, including helping CUMT to elevate the quality of CUMT s Journal and delivering trainings to CUMT s authors in order to enlarge the quantity of papers accepted by international journals and publications. They also talked about the papers publication of the 6th International Conference on Mining Science and Technology, which will be held in CUMT in 2009.
Before the meeting, President GE Shirong welcomed the delegation.
