NJU Students Win Top Honor in National Collegiate Information Security Contest

The "End-to-End Secure Mobile Communication System," designed by three undergraduates from the Department of Electronic Science and Engineering, Nanjing University (NJU), won first prize in the 2009 National Collegiate Information Security Contest.
The prizewinners are Shi Naixuan, Wang Linghui and Sun Chunjie. Their advisor, Prof. Ji Xiaoyong, won the Outstanding Advisor Award.
Another two NJU teams won second prize and third prize respectively in the contest.
A total of 512 teams from 84 universities participated in this year s contest. Only 12 first prizes, 24 second prizes and 48 third prizes were given.
The National Collegiate Information Security Contest, first held in 2008, aims to promote information security awareness, and encourage innovation and cooperation among college students.
