Vice President Xianjin YANG Meets with OSU Delegation

On June 19, Professor Xianjin YANG, Vice President of Tianjin University (TU), met with Professor Keith Alan Teague, President s representative of Oklahoma State University (OSU). Professor Kexin XU, Dean of School of Precision Instrument and Optoelectronics Engineering., and Professor Fuling YANG, Director of International Cooperation Office also joined the meeting.

During the meeting, VP YANG briefed Professor Teague TU s history, international exchange as well as its various Chinese Programs for international students. Professor Teague gave introduction to OSU s campus, disciplines and Chinese students, and put forward, on behalf of OSU President, the wish to sign a cooperative agreement at university level between the two institutions for further collaboration in more extensive areas.

Afterwards, discussions were held on Ph.D scholarships programs with China Scholarship Council s financial assistance, student exchange programs as well as double degree programs etc. After the meeting, Professor Teague visited some labs of information technology, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering and the exhibition of works by the students and graduates from the School of Architecture.
